I feel compelled to write about the subject of Honor at this time for several reasons.
We are commanded to honor those in authority, our Mother and Father, our spouses, God's prophets, Israel, etc.
However, I have noticed in increasing measure spirits of disrespect, of jealousy/envy, of disregard, of slander and strife... these behaviours are in direct disobedience to God's Word and when we continue to operate in these behaviours we will inevitably eat its fruit. For whatever we sow, we shall also reap.
When you sense that negativity is attacking you, see if you had any part of it. If so, ask for forgiveness from the other person. Set the example through love, even if they continue to act negative towards to you.
In this economy, when jobs are scarce, be sure to always operate in a spirit of Honor. Honor your employer. Honor yourself by doing the best work possible and do it unto the Lord. Honor others and love your enemies. Sounds cliche', perhaps. However, if you want to see progress in your life and doors open, Honor works.
If the Lord has chosen someone to lead a vision, Honor them. Is it wise to disrespect them, argue with them or speak to them in harsh tones... especially if they sign your paycheck? Is it wise to withhold information from them?
If your supervisor asks you to do something, do it promptly and with a joyful heart. They will notice your great attitude and you will win favor.
Even Nehemiah was wise enough to use Honor to win favor with King Artaxerxes (see Nehemiah Chapter 2). By serving the King and speaking to him with respect ("if it pleases the king...") , Nehemiah won favor and was able to rebuild the city of Judah. I also like the fact that he kept in touch with King Artaxerxes while building and even returned to him. (see Nehemiah Chapter 13:6-7)
If you have fallen into negative behaviours, repent to the Lord and ask for forgiveness from those you have dishonored. If your pride gets in the way, you need to renounce it and operate in a spirit of humility.
Pride inhibits progress.
And if you are a Christian, I am writing this especially to you because the world is looking at us. You need to represent Christ and all that He stands for. And it goes beyond saying you are a Christian. Your behaviour and tone towards others should reflect Christ's behaviour and tone.
I speak this unto you in a spirit of love... to God be the glory. If you are offended by this writing, renounce that spirit of offense and receive these words with a soft heart and ears that hear.
If you want to be promoted to the next level.. if you want to see progress in your life.. operate in the spirit of Honor towards others... you will see doors open, favor, promotions and people will speak highly of you.
For those that receive these words in their spirit and choose to honor others, I speak progress and promotion over you, in Jesus name.

Well, hello!
This is the day that the Lord has made... I will rejoice and be glad in it!
I finished up the fast last Saturday and encourage any and all readers to
do so when the Holy Spirit leads you.
In this post, I want to teach on the difference between Living by the Spirit vs. Living by the Flesh. Please turn to Galatians 5:16-26
What I suggest is that you form a checklist and keep it posted in various places to do a quick assessment on what type of fruit is being produced in your life. I don't know about you, but I don't want to get to a point in this journey where my flesh gets in the way and everything that has been built falls apart because the wrong fruit is being produced.
Here is the Checklist:

note: if you lack in any of these areas, ask the Holy Spirit to do a work in you so that you produce the fruit in increasing measure:

Let us pray...
Father God,
We bow before you in the mighty name of your son, Jesus Christ.
We thank you for this beautiful Monday to live and produce for your Kingdom. We thank you for your presence and love and grace. We thank you for being the Great I Am, there is no one or nothing like you, Lord.
We ask your forgiveness, Father, for the times we have walked in the flesh... the times we have sinned. Father God, we need your help to walk by the Spirit and not by flesh. We want to produce good fruit for Your kingdom, Lord... to live holy and righteous. We submit to you Lord and we allow the Holy Spirit to begin cleansing us from the inside out. I understand it is a process, Father, and I yield to it instead of fighting it. My Will is to live by the Spirit, not by the Flesh. I make the choice this day. I receive your cleansing, and I begin this sanctification process by faith.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.
Let us do an assessment throughout the day to ensure that we are operating in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Then, we will see abundant fruit manifest.

Grace and peace upon you...
Today, I returned from church fellowship and came home to spend extra time to be with the Lord intimately.
Let me exhort you to spend time with Him personally as well, to get to know Him beyond church service. You will grow spiritually and also your spiritual gifts will activate. It says in His word that "deep draws upon deep"... and "if you seek Me you will find Me.. if you seek me with all of your heart"...
The key word is to seek the Lord with all of your Heart.
What are your interests? Cars? Clothes? Career? In all of these things, you have done inexhaustible research, you have prepared and clocked in hours upon hours and then you reaped the benefits, correct?
It is the same way when it comes to getting to know the Lord and His will for your life.
Have you ever gone to a church and it just didn't feel quite right? Maybe you didn't feel comfortable with the people there, or you left with the same heaviness that you had upon entering and thought "what's the point?"
Well, I say unto you this day, you had been seeking your freedom and your answers from man... from religion... not seeking the Lord. People are flawed and will not be able to give you what the Lord gives you.. unconditional love, acceptance and power. Religion is bondage and law... like the Pharisees in the Bible.. who were so bound by theology that they didn't even recognize Jesus when He came!
The same in some churches today.. the ones that do not have His spirit there...(also known as "dead" churches)...they are so bound by religion that the Holy Spirit isn't even free to move during the sermon. Everything is ordered by a bulletin and by the clock on the wall. Do you think the Lord moves according to OUR timetable or His? This is why I encourage you to get to know Him outside of church service... yes, find a Bible-based, Holy Spirit-filled church to belong to, but also have intimate time with the Lord on a daily basis.
I reached this point a few years ago, around the age of 30. I went to church and was a Christian.. but I didn't really know Him intimately... I didn't really operate in any spiritual gifts and I had a bunch of darkness from life that was piling on my shoulders and affecting my spirit. So I made the Decision to get to know Him better. To draw deeper into His wonderful treasure chest of His word, and through prayer, praise and worship and fasting. So, because He is the Promise Keeper.. He met me during the search! It was the most beautiful experience...to feel His glory, to feel His presence clean out all of the darkness and I want you to have the same experience. He loves you so much and so do I.
I pray that you also make the decision to draw deeper into His Well... where the healing waters flow abundantly.. and where He will lift all darkness from you as you walk in His power to set other captives free.
I write this unto you in the name of Christ Jesus, our Lord and Saviour and pray that this word is a seed planted into your spirit that will grow and bear fruit in due time.
May His love and grace pour over us in this journey...
